CalcRaven (“we”, “us”) provides free online calculators and related explanations. You may use the site for personal, educational and business purposes in line with these terms.

General information, not advice

Our calculators, results, examples and articles are general information and estimates only. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal or other professional advice, and they do not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Before making a decision, consider whether the information is appropriate for you and, where needed, get advice from a qualified professional.

Paycheck, tax and pay estimates

Our paycheck, overtime and other tax-related calculators produce estimates based on published government figures, such as IRS withholding tables and state rates, as we understand them on the date shown on each page. They do not calculate the tax you actually owe and are not a substitute for your pay stub, your employer’s payroll records, your tax return or advice from a qualified tax professional. Tax laws, rates and payroll practices change, often each January, and individual circumstances vary.

CalcRaven is an independent publisher. We are not a tax preparer, accountant, enrolled agent, attorney or payroll provider, and we are not affiliated with the Internal Revenue Service, the Social Security Administration or any state government. Using the site does not create a professional or advisory relationship with us.

Accuracy

We work hard to make our calculators accurate, but we can’t guarantee that every result is complete, current or error-free. Results depend on the information you enter and on stated assumptions, and real products or rules may differ. Please check important figures independently.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site is provided “as is,” and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its results.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including under the Australian Consumer Law or any other consumer protection law that applies to you.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site. That includes trying to disrupt it, accessing it in ways that place an unreasonable load on it, or copying it in bulk to republish as your own.

Content and intellectual property

The site’s design, text and code belong to CalcRaven. You’re welcome to quote results and link to our pages. Please don’t reproduce substantial parts of the site without permission.
