Frequently asked questions
Why are there US and Australian versions?
The US sells landscaping supplies in cubic yards, cubic feet and tons, while Australia uses cubic metres, litres and tonnes, and bag sizes differ. Each version uses the units and bag sizes you’ll find in stores there.
Do the calculators allow for waste?
The concrete calculators add 10% by default for spillage and uneven ground, and you can change it. For mulch, gravel and soil, add a little extra yourself if your ground is uneven or the material will settle.
